Life is short

The girl in the picture is Katie Kirkpatrick, she is 21 and next to her, her fiance, Nick, 23. The picture was taken shortly before their wedding ceremony, held on January 11, 2005 in the US . Katie has terminal cancer and spend hours a day receiving medication. In the picture, Nick is waiting for her on one of the many sessions of quimo to end.

In spite of all the pain, organ failures, and morphine shots, Katie is going along with her wedding and took care of every detail. The dress had to be adjusted a few times due to her constant weight loss

An unusual accessory at the party was the oxygen tube that Katie used throughout the ceremony and reception as well. The other couple in the picture are Nick's parents. Excited to see her son marrying his high school sweetheart.

At the reception, Katie had to take a few rests.The pain does not allow her to stand up for long periods

Katie died five days after her wedding day. Watching a woman so ill and weak getting married and with a smile on her face makes us think..... Happiness is reachable, no matter how long it last. We should stop making our lives complicated.

And never stop smiling
no matter how strange life is
Life is not always the party we expected to be
but as long as we are here, we should smile and be grateful.

All of us take our life for granted. We don’t appreciate the person that is with us now instead we search for someone & something else that will never stay forever with us.
By the time we regret & realize, it’s too late… It’s all gone…

LIFE is just not living it, it’s ENDURING it……..

alo temen2 blogger yg terkasih... wah uda lama ya kg update sperti biasa alasannya tuh pasti gak smpt or sibuk hehe... tetapi alasan tetaplah sebuah alasan ok d daripada terlalu basa basi so let's start d. Here we go hehe...

bln mei tgl beberapa ari lagi then we start next month which is june tp skrg nia mau omongin bln may dulu kali ya hehe...

tgl 6 may kmrn itu adalah my daddy birthday.... so happy belated birthday ya dad.. hope the best for u.... and may god always bless u..... amin. skrg my dad itu lagi ke malay buat check up so temen2 blogger please pray for my dad ya hope everything going smoothly without make me and my brothers worries.

then tgl 20 may is my little brother birthday so once again happy belated birthday bro... sori sbg sister, ci nia blum bisa kasi apa2 yg berharga tp ci nia cumen bisa kasi kue tart and doa... smoga dd ndru suskses yach.. and my god always bless u... amin.

next, i want said thanks to my sist in christ "Sherly" yg uda mau bantuin nia buat ngasi idea buat scrapbook wedding temen nia.. thx ya, sist.... god bless u. amin

1 year old

hari ini umur ku bertambah 1 taon napa yach... berasa umur bertambah tp sifat n kelakuan tidak berubah tetep childish n keras kepala.. gmna ya cara ngerubah itu smua.. give me solution please.... thx...

ari ini tgl 3 mei tepat my bday diadakan reunian zaman skul dulu which is uda 8 taon... wkt cepet berlalu n ari ini i'm got surprised also and tiup lilin tp temen2 sori ya blum bisa traktir coz 40 org kebnykan hehe.. kantong bisa jebol :p coz saya masi kerja sbg kuli tuh.. sori yach.. doain aja smoga saya bisa sukses then bisa traktir d bahkan lebih dari 40 org hehe... (gaya pisan si nia :p, tp amin aja d)

y sgini dulu... btw, thx buat yg uda ucapin bday 2 me.... foto upload by next yach... coz blum dpt kiriman hehe.... bubye all...

happy bday, bro

all, temen2 blogger thx ya buat yg uda setia tetep mampir ke blog nia meskipun jarang di update coz bingung sih mau cerita apa hehe... tp ari ini coz my 2nd bro bday so just wanna said happy bday to him.

today tuh bertepatan dgn my 2nd bro bday yg kmrn itu dia di china tp skrg dia uda move to sydney so sad coz cant celebrate together his bday again hopefully next year bisa celebrate together.

new doggy

wah ternyata nia gak bisa sering2 update ini blog hikz.... coz disamping busy n as usual masi gak tau mau sharing apa hehe.... tp skrg nia uda tau kok apa yg mau disharing di blog ini hehe.... ok d let's start yach....

hmm... i have new doggy n d doggy its not 1 but 2 hehe... boy n gal.... doggy nya itu masi turunan dari poppy sich ya kalo diblg sih cucunya poppy d coz ini lahir dari anaknya poppy tp kayanya beda mama or papa d coz doggynya beda tp doggynya cute n lutu.. lutu... akhirnya ada doggy baru jg d hehe.... yg brown itu ce n namanya chubby tus kalo yg black itu co n namanya shadow :p

y uda d segini dulu aja d updatean nya... mau bobo ngantuk booo.. coz bsk tuh di indo lagi holiday so mau nikmatin wkt bobo d hehe.... bubye all n met nyepi ya buat yg ngerayain nya :)... god bless u, all

wah blog ini jadi terlantar d krn sibuk n bingung mau updated apa tp nia janji mulai ari ini akan sering2 di updated d blog ini hehe... sori ya buat temen2 yg uda mampir tp blognya tetep blum ada updatetan hehe... ok d skrg qta mulai yach updatetan bulan kmrn apa yg uda terjadi n nia alamin hehe...

btw, tgl 14 feb kmrn itu adalah ari valentine so nia disini mau ngucapin happy belated valentine yach... sori telat tp kayanya ari kasih sayang itu nga cumen valentine doank tp bagi nia smua ari adalah ari kasih sayang n ari kasih sayang itu ga cumen ngungkapin perasaan sayang ke pacar or pasangan idup tp ke smua org krn smua org pasto pengen ngerasa di sayangin meskipun bkn dari pacar tp dari temen, keluarga bahkan musuh... wah kok jadi curhat gini yach.. ok move on 2 d next topic...

tgl, 22 feb kmrn itu it's my 1 bro's birthday.. so happy belated bday yach... wah uda 23.. congratz yach... smoga cepet dapet kerjaan, sukses dalam pelayanan, cinta, karir... wah kalo mau nulisin wis buat my bro itu banyak so di conclude aja d.. wish u ol d best d bro in everything. sepi....

alo temen2 wah uda lama blog ini di lupain krn saking sibuknya hehe... mau tau dunk sibuk apa nia hehe... nia itu sibuk ngumpul ma kluarga coz taon ini adalah taon kedua dmana kluarga nia which is parents and bro's smua complete... plete... plete... alias lengkap.. senenk d tp sedih jg sih krn ari ini nia baru aja dari airport anterin 2 my bro's take off back to syd... so home kembali sepi d... bosen n sedih si coz tanpa mereka suasana rumah jadi seolah tanpa penghuni :(. eh klo jadi curhat gini... btw, nia mau ucapain gong xi fa chai yach buat yg ngerayain.. sori agak telat tp kan ada pepatah yg blg lebih baik telat daripada tidak diucapkan sama skali...

missing poppy in early 2009

alo temen2 blogger, gmna nich new year eve'nya n new yearnya di ari kedua di taon 2009. pasti seru n asik kan... :p. kalo nia sih not bad lah coz new year eve'nya itu bbq'an ma ade2 n spu2 so not bad kan coz bisa spent ma famz daripada macet'an di jkt :p.

kalo 1st of january 2009 itu bad kali yach coz my lovely dog which is poppy died.. sedih sich coz uda ampir 10 taon, poppy dipelihara n tinggal di rumah... poppy meninggal karena kandungan or rahimnya infeksi n kata dokter agak susah buat tertolong n pasrah aja tp nia tahu skrg poppy uda happy disana. meskipun poppy hanya seekor anjing tp dia anjing yg cute n nia synk ma poppy. Love n miss u, poppy coz biasa tiap sore nia pasti ajak poppy jalan2 tp sejak skt n ampe poppy meninggal jadi kangen ma masa2 itu.
